Adult Services

 

 

General services are provided along with--

 

Employment services are designed to create job development, deliver employability skills instruction to members of the Deaf and hard of hearing community, and provide job-coach support.

 

Case management assists clients in coping with a multitude of issues surrounding hearing loss: assessment/planning/evaluation/implementation of client services including, but not limited to life skills, document translation, peer mentoring, assistive devices, counseling, community resources, and job-search activities.

 

Social/support activities.

 

Independent Living Skills - Based on client’s needs and level of competence, staff provides instruction and training in specific skills that may include hygiene, safety, etiquette, budgets, transportation, meaning and management of time, maintaining a clean home, etc...
